Robotic Milling Systems
CNC Accuracy.
Robotic Flexibility.
Traditional CNC machines are accurate but constrained — fixed working envelopes, limited axis reach, expensive for large-part machining. Industrial robots have the reach and flexibility, but they lack the positional accuracy that machining demands. We bridge that gap.
What We Build
Complete Milling Cells.
Ready to Deploy.
MINOTOR Labs integrates KUKA industrial robots into complete milling systems. We select robots from KUKA's heavy-payload lineup — models capable of handling high-speed spindles and sustained cutting forces — and build them into ready-to-deploy milling cells.
Each system includes the robot arm, controller, a milling spindle with standard toolholding, and where needed, an external rotary axis for full part accessibility.
What separates our systems from a standard robot with a spindle bolted on is the calibration. Every robot we sell has been through our proprietary kinematic calibration process before it ships. The corrected model is embedded directly in the controller — the robot operates at sub-millimeter absolute accuracy from day one.
We work with a range of KUKA models depending on application requirements. Payload capacity, reach, and workspace geometry all factor into the selection.
Complete integrated milling cells
Robot, controller, spindle, and calibration delivered as one system — no integration work required on your end.
Heavy-payload KUKA platform
Selected for high-speed spindle handling and sustained cutting forces across metals, composites, foam, wood, and stone.
Calibration embedded at build
Every system ships with our proprietary kinematic calibration already in the controller. Sub-millimeter accuracy from day one.
Large working envelopes
Reach and workspace geometry that traditional CNC machines cannot match — ideal for large-format and complex-geometry parts.
Why Calibration Matters
Accuracy Built Into
the Machine.
A robot with a spindle is not a milling machine. The difference is absolute positional accuracy — and that only comes from kinematic calibration. Our proprietary process corrects each robot's unique geometric deviations before it leaves our facility, delivering performance that approaches CNC territory from a robotic platform.
